My father was on Esso Chile from her fitting out in Monfalcone, during sea trials and her maiden voyage from Monfalcone to Sidon where she loaded for Westville, PA., as 1st Mate

He bacame Captain of Esso Chile in New York on 18.3.1958 and he stayed on until 9.6.58 when he left her in Naples.
